The Chinese Program held its first annual talent show on April 8, 2022 at the MSU International Center, featuring Chinese songs, dances, calligraphy, traditional storytelling, Chinese tongue twisters, poetry reading, and language games led by program faculty.
Dr. Yore Kedem, who leads the Jewish Studies Summer Program at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, was honored with MSU’s Award for Outstanding Service to Education Abroad.
For many years, TESOL students have offered classes in the EPIC Program in the spring to help adult second-language speakers of English to improve their oral communication skills.
Given recent climate and weather-related events in Germany and the COP 26 Climate Summit in Glasgow in November, the German Program selected “Climate Change and Multilateralism” as the special theme for its advanced skill building courses (GRM 420 Advanced German and GRM 311 Business German) in Fall 2021.
