All of the following activities can be used to fulfill the 6 hour co-curricular requirement for classes.
Korean Conversation Table
Korean Conversation Tables are bi-weekly events put on by the Korean Faculty. Korean Conversation Tables are for anybody in the Korean program and any other interested students to practice their speaking abilities, as well as learn about Korean culture. It’s also open to any Korean international students or community members that want to share their culture. They take place on campus. The specific location varies, but students can check the MSU Linglang site for details. Topics of past Conversation Tables have included- Chuseok activities, Karaoke, movie nights, Korean food nights, and game nights
Korean Help Hours
Korean Help Hours are hosted by high-level Korean language students in Wells Hall Atrium. Hours and days vary by semester, but usually there is at least one session every weekday. Here, you can ask a helper to look over your homework with you, to explain a concept to you, ask a question about Korean language or culture that may not fit in in class, or just practice your Korean.
