Masumi Hamada is an Assistant Professor of Japanese at Michigan State University. She has received her Ph.D. in Japanese Linguistics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her research interests are on Tense/Aspect, Lexical Semantics of Verbs, Systematic Polysemy, and Pedagogical implication of Cognitive Linguistics.
