German PhD Student
Teaching Assistant
Leonie Hintze is originally from Göttingen, Germany. After completing her Staatsexamen / masters she taught elementary school for a few years and was also the Vice Principal at that school.
She then moved to the States (due to her husband’s post doc program) and started teaching German to various age groups in different settings (from private to class room). She also raised her children bilingual. Her research interest is therefore in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching Methods.
In her free time she loves to spent time with her family and friends. She also likes to be active (triathlons, gym), cook, craft, read, and sing.
