Chloe Francis, an Honors College student majoring in Arabic and International Relations, has been selected as Michigan State University’s institutional nominee for the prestigious Harry S. Truman Scholarship 2027

This national recognition highlights students who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential and a strong commitment to creating meaningful change through public service.
Chloe’s experiences studying abroad in Brussels sparked her passion for politics, multicultural understanding, and global dialogue. On campus, she promotes cultural awareness through refugee outreach, ESL tutoring, and political discourse. The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 in funding to support graduate studies for future leaders dedicated to public impact.
